The Raven Boys?
Watch the animated book trailer and then check out the making of by the author herself. I had no idea Stiefvater drew the art/animated the trailer. Amazing! She even composed the music.
Don't miss Maggie Stiefvater's contribution to School Library Journal Where I Work feature.

Yay to Maggie. I love love love My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece. I hope you love it too!
ReplyDeleteYeah, you better give me credit for linking to those leathabound classics. Hahaha, just kidding, I found them on Tor.com. I need to go to B & N just to stare at them. I have a friend who goes to Target to look at the tiny sleeping bags and tents to cheer her up when she's sad. I think these books might do the same thing for me.
ReplyDeleteSee, trolling Twitter isn't procrastinating--it's RESEARCH! Oh man if I saw them in person all bets would be off. I'd have to leave my debit card at home. And tiny sleeping bags and tents! That is adorable. I usually stick to puppy cams and sloth gifs but I might have to branch out. --N
DeleteWow, I'm looking forward to all the upcoming reviews!(: I love this feature though and always look forward to it every week, so another great edition of Bookmark Binge! :D

Seeing this made me realise I'd missed Mags' review of TRB - must go read it!
ReplyDeleteAnd Maggie is one talented lady!
Plus I am looking forward to your upcoming reviews :)
Thanks Mandee! Talk about a triple threat for ol' Maggie S huh? --N
DeleteEnjoy your books, ladies! Especially Monstrous Beauty, Noelle. :)
ReplyDeleteStiefvater was the mastermind the visuals/music component of her trailer?? *jaw drops* Amazing. I didn't know she was so talented. :)
And thanks for the Nathan Adrian link. I've been meaning to read that.
Isn't that crazy Leanne? (the trailer!) I had no idea either. I'd be happy with one out of three of those talents!
DeleteI'm excited about Monstrous Beauty--although I read something about an important part missing in the ARC? I still see lots of great reviews though so I'm going to go ahead and give the ARC a go. --N
